Your exclusive advantages
Safety and system lock
Safety for all
Extremely useful: Both functions prevent accidental or unauthorised access to the hob.
The lock function prevents unwanted adjustments to the selected power levels during cooking. The system lock protects from accidental or unauthorised switching on, by children, for example. This function can be activated on a hob that is switched off.
Timer
To use when and how you prefer
For coffee when you want it: switch-on and switch-off times can be programmed as required.
Switch-on and switch-off of the coffee machine can be programmed individually and according to your needs. Coffee can be made as soon as you get up as the machine switches on automatically; it also switches off automatically in the evening. To conserve energy, the coffee machine can be switched off completely after it has not been used for some time.
Permanent pot recognition
Best use of energy
Autom. activation of numerical keybank: When turned on, crockery that has been placed is recognised immediately.
If crockery has already been placed on one of the cooking zones, the numerical keybank is activated automatically immediately after the hob is switched on. This makes manual activation of the cooking zones unnecessary.
Con@ctivity
Automatic operation for intelligent fan control
Optimum room climate: The required fan output is automatically controlled by the hob settings.
Thanks to the Con@ctivity automatic function, the cooker hood can communicate with the hob below: the settings selected on the hob are transmitted to the controls on the cooker hood. Your Miele cooker hood then uses this data to automatically select the correct fan setting, ensuring the optimum room climate at all times. Communication between the hob and hood is established either via ZigBee (Con@ctivity 2.0) or WiFi (Con@ctivity 3.0).
Recall function
Unintentional switching off is no problem
With memory function: If the appliance is switched off accidentally, all settings are saved for 10 seconds.
You unintentionally switched off your hob but realise it immediately. If you restart it within 10 seconds, all power levels and time settings you previously selected are still present. Your cooking process continues without interruption.
Overheating protection and fault monitoring
To ensure the appliance has a long service life
Protects the hob: The hob automatically switches off in the case of extreme heat.
Every cooking zone is equipped with overheating protection. This automatically switches off the heating element of the cooking zone in case of extreme use before the ceramic glass or other components can overheat. If liquid or another item gets onto the surface by mistake, the hob automatically switches off as well. So you are always protected from an unintentional power adjustment.
Miele CleanCover
Convenience and safety in detail
Protection and easy cleaning: the smooth concealed surface prevents contact with electrical components and motor.
Located behind the grease filters is the Miele CleanCover: Instead of sharp metal edges and electrical components you will find only a sealed, smooth surface. It is particularly easy to clean and protects you from coming in contact with cables and motor components. Miele attention to detail - for your convenience and safety.
Stop & Go
A safety plus
So nothing will burn: With this function, all cooking zones can be reduced to power level one simultaneously.
Is there somebody at the door? With the Stop&Go function all cooking zones can be reduced to power level one with the single touch of a button. In this way the hob can be left unattended for a short period without food overcooking or burning. When you return to the hob, the previously set power levels can be reactivated with another touch of a button.
ECO motor
The heart of every cooker hood
Powerful and economical: the DC motor saves up to 70 % electricity compared with conventional motors.
The heart and soul of every cooker hood is the motor. Some Miele cooker hoods feature ECO motors which work up to 70 % more economically than conventional motors. They are also very quiet but still as powerful as the motors in other Miele cooker hoods.
Stainless steel grease filters
Aesthetically pleasing and highly functional
Convenient cleaning: The high-quality metal grease filters are dishwasher-proof and extremely durable.
Miele cooker hoods are equipped with a 10-ply stainless-steel grease filter. The top layers and filter frame are made of high-quality stainless steel. "When you conveniently clean the grease filters in the dishwasher, no visible discolouring will occur," and the Miele grease filters keep their high-quality appearance for a long time.
SmartSelect
Easy operation with SmartSelect
Quick and intuitive: power levels and times can be selected directly for each cooking zone.
With SmartSelect, you can set power levels and times quickly and easily. Each cooking zone has a numerical display with yellow backlighting which can be read easily from any angle. SmartSelect makes it easier to set the three-digit timer, as the minute minder and Auto switch off can be selected separately.
Smear protection
Safe removal of soiling
Safe cleanliness: When activated, operation for simple cleaning is blocked for 20 seconds.
With the touch of a finger it is possible to block operation of the hob for 20 seconds. All settings are kept in place. The running time is clearly displayed on the timer. Crockery can be moved and the hob can be cleaned without hindrance and without settings being changed.
TwinBooster
Booster Function for rapid heating
Flexible power: the induction power can be individually distributed or focused on just one cooking zone.
For especially rapid heating: with Miele's exclusive TwinBooster function, you can concentrate the power of two cooking zones into a single cooking zone if required. Or you can distribute the induction power individually for even more flexible cooking.
